Holly L. Burrows, Au.D. is a senior staff audiologist at the Army Audiology and Speech Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Dr. Burrows has been practicing clinical audiology with an emphasis in balance assessment and treatment for 12 years. She has participated in and helped develop several multi-disciplinary teams at Walter Reed to accurately evaluate and diagnose patients with dizziness and balance disorders. She has also co-developed several workshops which provide local audiologists and students with didactic as well as experiential exposure to the diagnosis and treatment of balance disorders. Her activities over the past 7 years have heavily focused on the assessment and rehabilitation of vestibular problems in the blast and TBI populations and clinical research endeavors related to assessment.

Officer In Charge of the Traumatic Brain Injury Program

CPT Karen H Lambert, MPT, NCS is the Officer In Charge of the Traumatic Brain Injury Program for the Physical Therapy Service, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. CPT Lambert has been practicing physical therapy for 10 years with an emphasis on neuromuscular function and dysfunction, most specifically in traumatic brain injury. She developed a unique section within the physical therapy service to address the needs of Service members diagnosed with traumatic brain injury to include assessment and rehabilitation of visual, vestibular and neuromuscular disorders. She has worked closely with audiology, optometry, and occupational therapy to develop several multi-disciplinary teams improve care after brain injury. Her research interests are specific to the diagnosis and treatment of balance and dizziness attributed to blast injury in the Service member.

Robin Pinto, Au.D. is a staff audiologist at the Army Audiology and Speech Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. and the Director of Training for the Army Externship Program. Dr. Pinto has been practicing clinical audiology with an emphasis in balance assessment and treatment for 9 years. She has participated in and helped develop several multi-disciplinary teams at Walter Reed to accurately evaluate and diagnose patients with dizziness and balance disorders. Her activities over the past 5 years have heavily focused on the assessment and rehabilitation of vestibular problems in the blast and TBI populations and clinical research endeavors related to assessment.
